Bizarre Creations was founded by Martyn Chudley in 1995, and evolved from a games company called Raising Hell Software in the late '80s. After garnering accolades for titles for C64, Amiga, Atari ST and Megadrive, the Bizarre Creations of today was born when Sony's PlayStation rolled out. The team started off with five people, working on a concept project called 'Slaughter'. After seeing the demo, Psygnosis signed on Bizarre Creations to develop Formula 1 for the PlayStation. Formula 1 became the best selling game in Europe in 1996, launching Bizarre Creation's career in console game development. Since then, Bizarre Creations has moved on to developing games for both PS2 and Xbox formats including Fur Fighters (PS2) and the highly acclaimed Project Gotham Racing and Project Gotham Racing 2 (Xbox & Xbox LIVE).
