You will be given autonomy to lead your client’s SEO strategy and proactively build strong working relationships with internal and external contacts. You will also develop your line management skills and experience by providing support to a junior member of the team to assist with their managing of accounts. We pride ourselves on a having collaborative environment that ensures highly contentious issues within the SEO industry are explored and conclusions drawn to drive impactful results.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop the long-term strategy for our SEO campaigns across key clients
- Develop excellent working relationship with clients.
- Hands-on production with support from a junior member of the team
- Train & mentor junior member of the team
- Provide clients with best-practice technical SEO consultancy
- Collaborate with the wider digital team to ensure an integrated approach
- Actively seek the latest SEO industry news to ensure our strategies are forward-thinking
- Contribute to new business pitches
- Support & deliver case studies for award winning work
- Passionate about the SEO industry
- Ability to explain complex SEO issues in a language that clients can understand
- Strong technical SEO background - extensive experience in producing high quality, comprehensive technical audits that deliver results
- Experience analysing server logs (or keen to develop skill of server log analysis)
- Applicable knowledge of front-end development languages
- Experience with a range of SEO software
- Excellent working relationship with clients, agency stakeholders and key partners
- Experience supporting SEO campaigns for eCommerce & news publishers (bonus)
- Experience delivering outreach campaigns (bonus)
- Strong Excel skills to determine actionable insights from large data sets
- Strong maths and analytic skills and ability to relate results to client business objectives.
- Confident with deriving insight from Google Analytics and Omniture (bonus)
- Experience with delivering client workshops
- Proven experience in SEO demonstrating leadership and ownership across multiple SEO accounts
- Ruthless attention to detail, especially when employing individual processes and procedures. Hold others to account, setting a high bar for quality that is always met.
- An awareness of other marketing disciplines and the practicalities of integration.
