This production company believes in fuelling their staff’s passion, encouraging them to develop and making sure that everything is done for their love or events and outstanding client relationships. Their technical team is now looking for a talented individual for the role of Service Technician.
Working closely with the Inventory Manager at their London warehouse your role will have an impact on the speed and quality of service and maintenance for a wide range of event technology across rigging, lighting, audio and AV. You will play a key role ensuring that the equipment is prepped, inspected tested and maintained to a high standard and is in line with the relevant HSE regulations so your PAT testing and LOLER knowledge will be invaluable. You will have the opportunity to work on and test a number of bespoke electrical elements as well as the latest kit for technical event production. To keep abreast of the technology and how it is used you will have regular communication with manufacturers, production staff and technicians which will allow you to make purchase and usage recommendations
You have a strong electrical background and a broad range of experience across professional event equipment covering audio .lighting, AV and Rigging. In addition to this you also have:
- The initiative to solve problems and find solutions
- A positive and can do mindset
- The ability and personality to develop relationships with suppliers and manufacturers
- PAT testing experience and knowledge of LOLER regulations
- Knowledge of H&S and working practices within a technical production warehouse
- Good clear communication
- A willingness to continually develop
