Interactive and engaging experiences are key dynamics for the events world and this company is very successful in helping their clients reach that experience goal.
They do this by developing bespoke engagement apps and platforms for audience use on iPads and temporary Wi-Fi networks during a variety of events, conferences, forums and shows in the UK and Europe and around the world
They now require an enthusiastic Senior On-Site Technician to join their hardworking and friendly team.
As the Senior Event Technician, you will provide support at live events for a range of blue-chip clients and organizations ensuring that all hardware, software and peripheral technology works correctly and smoothly.
Your role will be a mix of equipment testing, maintenance, and prep work at the office in London, technical onsite delivery, supporting and mentoring Junior Technicians as well as working with the Project Managers to ensure their vision for the client's event is executed in a professional manner and meets the expectations of all stakeholders.
On-site you will essentially be an ambassador for the company so this will provide you with an excellent platform to fully utilize your client relationship skills.
- Proven experience in a similar role
- A passion for technology and events
- Practical understanding of computer hardware such as tablets and iPads
- Technical knowledge covering AV, projectors or presentation software
- Practical understanding of temporary Wi-Fi networks
- Proven client-facing experience
- An amiable personality
- A willingness to share knowledge, learn and develop
- A willingness to travel
- A flexible approach to working hours
