We are looking for someone who is an expert in building models and analysing large sets of data to create visualisations then communicating these efficiently to our development team such that they make more insightful decisions that improve the overall quality of our game on a day-by-day basis.
Key Responsibilities
  • Plan ahead to define data collections requirements in a timely & organised manner
  • Model raw data into easy-to-use models
  • Analyse collected data to efficiently create insightful visualisations that are quick to read
  • Communicate these visualisations to the development team such that better decisions are made that lead to a higher quality game or more efficient development
  • Follow up decisions after design changes have been implemented to validate the desired increase in game quality or development efficiency
  • Educate the development team in what is possible in data analytics and drive interest in it
  • Expert knowledge of SQL and database technology
  • Expert intuition in data exploration and analysis
  • Excellent knowledge of Tableau, Looker or similar visualization tool
  • Proven communication in all forms i.e. emails, desk chats, meetings, presentations
  • Expert at modelling data for analysis then creating visualisations
  • Expert at providing insight to game developers
  • Experience at providing insight to publishing teams (Bonus)
  • Experience working on Top Rated Games
  • Experience working with senior members of a team including Creative & Studio Directors
  • Experience managing data analytics teams and having direct reports
  • Ability to work independently and strive for very high quality without supervision
  • Naturally, treat people well (all disciplines and levels of seniority)
  • Take responsibility for report quality and timeline commitments
  • Ability to build and maintain close relationships across all disciplines and seniorities
