Responsibilities

As a Senior Media Planner, your primary responsibilities will be leading the day-to-day logistics in the planning, implementing, maintaining, and reporting of media campaigns.
Specifically, you will:
Plan Integrated Campaign – across traditional, digital, social, and paid search channels
• Lead team brainstorming to kick off plan and consideration set development
• Provide critical thinking and analysis to draw conclusions and identify actionable
implications
• Analyze media alternatives and make recommendations as to how to best allocate the
advertising budget. Plans typically include analysis and recommendations on targeting,
geography, scheduling, support level and budget
• A firm understanding of marketing objectives and strategies, the consumer – product
relationship, creative strategy and consumer – media relationship.
• Create media-specific documents such as RFPs, media plans, and other related
documents
• Lead in RFP review of partners/site proposals, develop analyses and drive negotiations
• Monitor trends, tools, opportunities and applications in traditional, digital, paid search &
social media environments, and appropriately apply that knowledge
• Present plans to the partner agencies and client, with assistance where necessary of more
Sr. media team.
Execute Integrated Campaigns
• Train and mentor planners
• Manage, monitor and optimize paid social and paid search activation on social media
platform & Google Ads
• Generate insertion orders to reserve advertising space
• Traffic planned assets such as creative and tracking tags
• Set up 3rd party ad server/tracker system
• Create post-launch campaign information such as screenshots, links, and placement
information to demonstrate proof of placement
• Manage day-to-day communication with key partners: Vendors, Partner Agencies and
Clients
Report and Optimize Campaign
• Build campaign performance deck including reporting on both digital channels and site
KPI metrics and recommend optimization tactics
• Lead optimization execution to deliver desired campaign results
• Monitor digital performance, provide an active voice in identifying optimization
opportunities and challenges
• Present reports and optimization plans to the partner agencies and client

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree plus 3-4 years of media experience
• Demonstrate affinity and passion for multicultural markets, especially the minorities segment
• Knowledge of media tools (ad serving, programmatic platform, etc.) and procedures
(both media and inter-department)
• Experience with a third party ad server (DCM preferred), Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads and Google Analytics
• Proactive self-starter with proven ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a
fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
• Train and mentor junior planners (experience preferred)
• Organized, and detail-oriented with strong attention to follow-through
• Strong communication, writing, and analytical thinking skills
• Excellent English communication skills. This position requires regular presentations to
stakeholders
• Able to work successfully within a team, handling high volume workload, and meeting
tight deadlines under pressure
• Strong analytical abilities & proficiency in math
