You will work with the agency's teams around the world on global and local clients, overseeing the planning, implementation, and day to day management of social channels for a range of global clients and big brand names.

To be successful in this role, you should have a proven record of developing and implementing successful content and channel strategies across various social platforms. Being experienced in the various tasks which fall under the remit of the Social team (e.g. content planning, strategy, production and management of organic and paid campaigns) as well as having experience in leading a social team.

You’ll need to have an excellent eye for detail and great communication skills. Your curiosity to explore client challenges means that you’ll constantly be on the lookout for better ways of doing things, to maximise value for both our clients and the business.

It’s a busy role and you’ll need to be organised and able to switch between projects and team management, so the ability to manage your workload effectively to meet deadlines and deliver a positive client experience is a must.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Team management of both FTE and freelancer resource within the Social team
  • The Social Media forecast and tracking of progress alongside targets
  • Issue resolution
  • Manage and grow clients’ social media accounts
  • Manage the planning and production of content for organic and paid social campaigns
  • Manage or deliver campaigns across various paid social channels, ensuring the growth of our clients’ accounts and the delivery of strong ROI
  • Oversee budgets, forecast, and monitor campaigns to deliver on agreed targets
  • Manage campaign optimisation as needed
  • Educate internal teams and clients on best practices, platform updates and new products, positioning yourself as a thought leader in the social media space
  • Manage the auditing of clients’ social accounts as well as their competitors to formulate effective social strategies and recommendations
  • Support the team with other projects and planning as needed
  • Provide weekly status reports on resource and paid work
  • Forecast resource requirements
  • Manage resources that are either FTE or freelance in nature
  • Other duties as commensurate with the role
Desirabel Experience:
  • Experience in team management
  • Experience working in social media, preferably in a media agency/fast-pace environment  
  • Experience building successful social media and content strategies for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linkedln, Snapchat and TikTok across both organic and paid
  • Experience working and managing considerable advertising budgets, making decisions to support short and long-term client objectives
  • Experience with delivering social media audits, competitor analysis, and playbooks
  • Ability to be client-facing and versatile, managing multiple clients and live campaigns at once
  • Ability to understand client requirements and create proposals to meet their objectives
  • Experience in producing new business proposals and pitching for new client work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, being able to liaise with other teams to produce the best possible results for our clients
