Marketing Coordinator

The task of the Marketing Coordinator is to undertake the company’s marketing activities in line with the company marketing strategy. To assist in developing and maintaining awareness to drive sales opportunity for our company, services or products.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • To liaise with the Communications Director in developing the marketing strategy, planning and setting objectives
  • To organise and create promotional content as required
  • To undertake onsite research, gathering and collating content from site
  • To assist in the development and implementation of the company’s brand
  • strategy
  • To support the maintenance and further development of internal tools, including databases, tracking capability, contact directory, and team sites.
  • To conduct research on market trends, customer behaviour and competitive landscape, analysing and preparing reports as required.
  • To liaise on marketing activities with Sales, Account Management and Project teams
  • To develop and coordinate the planning of marketing events, demos, conferences and trade shows
  • To network effectively and establish appropriate marketing contacts
  • To develop and maintain an inventory of sales support materials, company merchandise and branded items, coordinating the creation of new materials as required
  • To support the company with the continual growth of new sources of prospective customer data
  • To liaise and advise the wider company on marketing activities
  • To further knowledge and education regularly through workshops, research, seminars, and share best practices, and marketing ideas and tactics with the team

Skills
  • Qualifications in marketing, advertising, or communications
  • Past work experience as a Marketing Coordinator or similar role
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
  • Experience with research using data analytics software
  • Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, especially with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools
  • Working knowledge of HTML and design and email software
  • Experience working with budgets
  • Previous experience of the Audio-Visual Industry an advantage
