Audio Visual Pre-Sales Engineer – This audio visual systems integrator has a requirement to grow its business within both the high end residential integrated systems company and its commercial arm. Projects currently range from apartments AND Multi-Dwelling Units and commercial / leisure systems. This proposed role is considered integral to the development of the companies and will work with the existing sales team to design solutions for potential projects, it is essential that the engineer ensures the quote is technically accurate before it is issued to the sales team.
Essential:
• Provide technical support to Sales team throughout sales process.
• Ensure equipment to be purchased is correct for the job.
• Provide supporting documentation and detailed technical drawings for projects that have been sold.
• Support sales team during site meetings to confirm clients’ technical requirements and assist with specifying products.
• Provide on-going support and design approval to the system designers (post internal handover)
Skills required:
• Excellent technical knowledge of AV equipment.
• An up-to-date understanding of the AV marketplace and related technologies.
• Good understanding of Microsoft Office including Excel and Word.
• Ability to apply lateral thinking to problems.
  • Experience with using D-Tools / Visio for design purposes
