SEO Performance Content Executive - Outreach/Influencer/PR

A superb opening for an Exec to join an award-winning and rapidly growing SEO and Performance Content team, to support the SEO and Performance Content Account Directors in the day-to-day running of projects and campaigns. The role comprises of project management, content strategy support, outreach/digital PR and copywriting responsibilities – the perfect opportunity for someone who has relevant experience in this field, but ready to take more ownership and progress their career.

Not only will the successful candidate be working with some of the largest brands and advertisers in the world, they will also have the opportunity to develop their knowledge of media planning, thanks to the close integration between the SEO team with other specialist departments within the company.

Responsibilities of the role:
  • Supporting the delivery of both SEO outreach and Digital PR campaigns
  • Managing third party suppliers and freelancers - online publications, content creators, influencers, development agencies etc. The successful candidate will run the end-to-end process for client’s content campaigns, from strategy, ideation, production to reporting
  • Managing press/journalist relationships through Digital PR campaign executions
  • Keyword research & content optimisation recommendations for client website content
  • Producing SEO-driven pieces of online content, including but not limited to: guides, Press releases, blog articles, product copy and feature articles
  • Running Content and Copywriting workshops – both client-facing and internal
  • Supporting the Performance Content and SEO Account Directors in relevant management duties
  • Monitor industry trends and updates and report back on insights to their Account Manager and the wider team
Desirable experience:
  • High standard of written and spoken English
  • Experience in Digital PR execution (discovering trends, hooks and seeding to press)
  • Experience copywriting for the web (Articles, Guides, PRs, Blog posts)
  • Strong communications skills for paid outreach activities with bloggers/publications (experience managing third party suppliers/freelancers highly desirable)
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics or alternative analytics software
  • Experience with keyword research and monitoring platforms
  • Ability to juggle a number of tasks at once and consistently to deliver high-quality work to timescale
  • Proven project management and problem-solving skills
  • Proven client-facing and internal communication skills are an absolute essential
  • Ability to pre-empt problems and be pro-active in producing solutions
  • Ability to identify out-of-scope opportunities and raise to the appropriate internal stakeholders
  • Understand of web technologies (Web Architecture, and experience with Content Management Systems)
  • Understanding of emerging digital technologies and digital content solutions
