This agency is seeking a confident, versatile and experienced Paid Social Media Manager to join an award-wining agency. This is an exciting opportunity for you take the next step in your social media career and join a team which works with the agency’s largest global social clients, executing across a range of platforms.
As a Paid Social Media Manager, you’ll be confident at wearing multiple hats, and the type of person who loves to get stuck in and is highly organised. You’ll be the account dynamo, helping to meet clients’ goals by coordinating campaigns and overseeing more junior members of the team, building relationships, launching social advertising campaigns, implementing processes and trackers, engaging online communities and analysing performance. You’re keen to meet or beat deadlines, stay ahead of trends and always look for ways to innovate. You’re a problem solver and you highly value relationships whether it’s with internal teams, online communities or clients. The role is extremely client facing, so you must be confident in your knowledge and abilities as a social expert. Finally, you have an obsession for detail meaning you’re always striving to deliver excellence to clients and are proud of your outputs.
Role Responsibilities:
- Oversee and mentor more junior members of the team, providing oversight, insights and new ways of working
- Primary campaign manager and campaign setup for clients
- Responsible for oversight of campaign budgets, timelines, media, and overall successes
- Creating report (analysis + commentary), making actual specialty-based activation recommendations
- Responsible for mapping creative and content to activation plan
- QAs campaign setup, reports, and QA recommendation
- Manage multiple deadlines and troubleshoot problems in real time, refining processes in real time to ensure they do not occur again in the future.
- Multiple client liaisons on a daily basis
- Represent the social team in client and internal engagements to present plans, secure feedback, and coordinate details.
- Work closely with Content, Strategy and Creative departments on identifying key audiences and channels, market-specific value propositions, key messages, and account planning.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- 3-4 years’ paid social strategy, planning and buying - agency background ideal
- Results orientated professional used to working towards client specific media KPIs
- Expert knowledge of social networks such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter
- Ability to develop social media plans for clients that include goals, specific campaign strategies, recommended tools, budgets, and timelines.
- Exceptional organisational and project management skills.
- Ability to maintain awareness of social technology & related trends.
- Excellent writing and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate
- Strong organisational skills to coordinate many functions
