A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Technical SEO Manager with strong international technical experience and client facing skills to lead a portfolio of key accounts. You will have a Technical SEO Executive working into you to facilitate this. You will need strong experience in all technical facets, including crawl audits, international SEO, indexation issues, accessibility issues, keyword research etc., and a good understanding of development languages, i.e., HTML, CSS, JavaScript.

Your experience should also fuse UX and page path analysis into your approach. You should be passionate about advanced SEO and can make basic API requests. This role requires someone with a strong head for numbers and be able to create effectiveness and value models, forecast and extract key/ actionable insights for our clients.

You also need to be comfortable managing time and keeping within retainer/project scopes. There will be a heavy client facing element to this role, as you’ll be required to attend weekly calls/meetings and lead on larger monthly and quarterly meetings, with the support of your line manager. As such, it’s essential you feel comfortable with clients, have strong communication skills, as well as a proactive attitude and a real hunger for success.

  • 3+ years’ experience in a SEO remit, ideally within an agency environment
  • Proven experience of working with enterprise level clients and large budgets
  • You would ideally have international SEO experience for this role due to the clients you’ll be working across, or at least a good understanding of things like hreflang tags
  • Exceptional understanding of best-in-class SEO techniques and latest algorithm updates, as well as key tools such as GA, Search Console, aHrefs, SEMrush, Deepcrawl etc.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with good working knowledge of Excel etc.
  • Excellent communicator – written and verbal, with the ability to present confidently
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines, as well as experience keeping within retainer/project scopes
  • Strong attention to detail and a practical and problem-solving approach to challenges
  • Strong collaboration skills and desire to work with others in a team

  • Learn and have a clear understanding of our agency best practices
  • Play a role in managing the day-to-day technical support and implementation across a portfolio of tier one clients
  • Extensive experience using Google Analytics, Search Console, and other analytics packages
  • Work closely with the PPC team to ensure alignment and support in truly incremental and integrated performance for your clients
  • Provide insightful, useful, and timely reporting for clients, unearthing insights and providing relevant analysis and critical thinking
  • Able to confidently and proficiently manage, investigate, analyse crawl & log files from tools such as Deepcrawl, Screaming Frog, custom crawlers, client extractions
  • Comfortable constructing forecasts based on logical assumptions and frameworks
