Paid Search Director - Dating App
Salary is £50,000 - £55,000
Network media agency
Hybrid working, 2 days in the office per week.

This is an exciting AD role that will predominately work across one of the world’s leading dating companies and one of the largest clients across the agency. This position has been newly created on the back of winning this client following a major new business process.

You will be the channel lead on this client and responsible for meeting client delivery and targets. Your role will span campaign implementation, analysis, optimisation, delivery and evaluation across paid search, YouTube and the GDN. You will also need to take an active, leading role on strategy for this client too. This is a global client and delivery for these channels will be centralised through our London office, so this will involve multi-market activation.

There will be a heavy client facing element to this role, as you’ll be required to attend weekly calls/meetings and lead on larger monthly and quarterly meetings, with the support of your line manager. As such, it’s essential you feel comfortable with clients, have strong communication skills, as well as a proactive attitude and a real hunger for success.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the creation and management of paid search, YouTube and GDN campaigns to effectively deliver client objectives and targets.
  • Drive best practice on your clients, and through your team; specifically, improving the quality of campaign delivery, innovation, and automation.
  • Be a digital leader, engaging in knowledge sharing with your peers across the group.
  • Oversee and manage optimisation of campaigns through utilisation of bid management tools.
  • Developing and planning holistic paid performance strategies largely independently.
  • Overseeing and/or executing the optimisation of campaigns, both manual and automated.
  • Developing a rich understanding of your clients’ audience and the consumer journey.
  • Identify opportunities to develop new solutions to clients or productise existing capabilities to new streams of agency revenues.
  • Helping to drive innovation and creative solutions, ensuring media firsts and beta use.
  • Overseeing accurate and timely finance administration and budgeting.
  • Being day-to-day contact for clients in Performance. Leading, maintaining and growing strong relationships with relevant client stakeholders.
  • Client facing presentations on strategy, campaign recommendations and results.
  • Maintain development plans, roadmaps, and media plans.
  • Contribute to new business prospecting and business development meetings.
  • Manage personal development plans for direct reports, ensuring SMART objectives are set.
  • Develop expertise, tech knowledge and all-round skill set of all your direct reports.
  • Own the profitability of your client portfolio and team.
Desirable Experience:
  • 4-5 years’ experience within a Performance remit, ideally within an agency environment.
  • Management experience is essential.
  • Proven experience of working with enterprise level clients and large budgets.
  • Proven experience across PPC, YouTube and GDN (fine if bought via Google Ads vs. DV360)
  • Commercial experience, responsibility/exposure for clients or team.
  • Must be able to communicate well and manage client expectations.
  • Passion for, and a wide understanding of, all aspects of digital media.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise workload across your team.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Thorough attention to detail.
