An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead Project Engineer to join an expanding operations team. This position will report directly to the Directors and will be responsible for leading the design, planning and implementation of projects. This is a new position for an individual who would play an integral part of the development and growth of the Technical department.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Produce system schematics including audio, visual, control and power
  • Assist in the production of Scope of Work document
  • Communicate any site requirements such as IT or FM dependencies
  • Coordinate the production of M&E drawings for CAD technicians
  • Communicate required system functionality to the control system programmer
  • Leading projects onsite which will involve overseeing the work of other installation engineers and subcontractors
  • Installation and completion of small works
  • Manage and delegate work to Office Administrator (when required)
  • Liaise with third party trades sub contractors to ensure smooth integration
  • Commission equipment to the highest system including programming of DSPs, setup of digital video systems and setup of video conferencing systems
  • Provide technical support post the project
  • Assist in production of O&M documentation

SKILLS REQUIRED
  • 5 years of experience of Corporate AVIT
  • Excellent technical and practical knowledge of AV & VC equipment - inclusive of AV control systems and converged IP networks
  • Experience with Crestron Toolbox, QSyS Designer, Shure Designer, Dante, Crestron NVX.
  • Sound knowledge of IT & networks
  • CAD / Visio experience to produce detailed schematic / technical drawings
  • Technical drawing skills for small scale projects only
  • When required, installation of systems
  • Strong client management skills
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office including Excel and Word
