Job Description

I'm currently looking for a digital account director to work for a digital agency based in central London, you will be covering predominately SEO & PPC among other performance channels.

This digitally savvy Account Director will handle the day-to-day management of client accounts.  You will be responsible for the digital marketing strategy & organic growth of these accounts, together with managing client level P&L’s. The ideal candidate will have a very strong background in digital media. In this client-facing role, you will collaborate with senior clients to identify specific client needs & business objective. You will then identify & implement products & services that will help clients achieve their goals.

Position Accountabilities
  • Own senior client relationships and run the day-to-day operations of client accounts
  • Provide strategic leadership and develop forward-moving strategy
  • Coach and develop internal team
  • Develop productive business relationships with key decision makers
  • Develop and sell through high level digital solutions to Clients
  • Participate in new business
  • Stay current with Industry research and understanding
  • Provide status through regular reporting to MP or President
  • Develop a deep understanding of client business and markets (both on and offline)
  • Challenge briefs and budget allocation where necessary
  • Play a key role in maximising the usage of technology (both proprietary and external)
  • Ensure client strategies and roadmaps are agreed, implemented & analysed and delivered to schedule
  • Ownership of client queries to resolution
  • Drive performance and actively seek out opportunities to develop incremental business on key client accounts
  • Champion and encourage integration between all teams
Experience & skills
  • 5+ years experience in a client services position, managing clients and responsible for account growth
  • 3+ years managing digital programs (e.g. SEO, SEM, Social Media, Mobile, etc.)
  • Strong writing, communication, and presentation skills
  • Experience presenting and selling to high level decision makers
  • Experience developing strategic plans  
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, including PowerPoint and Excel
  • Highly organised & work to tight deadlines
  • Charismatic
  • Entrepreneurial, self-starter
  • Languages skills are an advantage, but not essential
  • University degree educated
