They are a London based technical event production company who have a wide portfolio of events under their belt which means their excellent industry reputation allows their team to be involved in some great events and to assist with their continued success they now need a highly organised and proactive person for the role of AV Operations and Hire Manager.
As a senior member of the organisation your role will play a significant impact in the event delivery and hire services that company provides. You will work closely with the Project and Warehouse teams to ensure that there is enough relevant and maintained inventory to accommodate the various AV systems designed for the wide range of events the company works on. You will source all relevant sub hires to cover any shortfalls that occur along with managing and monitoring the transport of equipment to and from the warehouse making sure that any damages and losses are kept to an absolute minimum. Naturally the administration of all relevant process must be adhered to and completed and you will ensure that the relevant procedures are always executed in a timely and relevant fashion. You will have the technical knowledge and confidence to advise clients on their relevant needs and guide internal teams to assist with the goal of providing a continuous high level of service.
Your experience will clearly illustrate a background in live event production and at least two years in a similar position. You are someone who is very confident with your knowledge of AV and audio systems used in an event production environment and you will be familiar with the back of house processes that are required to run an efficient production house along with the relevant system installation procedures required for an event project. Your leadership qualities will also be evident in your career and you have the character and industry insight to mentor staff and advise clients while always keeping an eye on the overall quality of work and delivery. Your decision making is sharp, concise and you can naturally marry this with a strong level of verbal and written communication, a strong commercial eye, the ability to manage multiple projects and a supportive persona to accommodate the team environment.
