Job Description

Do you have the ability to work in a fast paced environment? Do you have strong leadership and communication skills? A new opportunity has arisen for passionate AV Technician to work in a prime location in London. As an AV Technician you will assist in the technical preparation of equipment as directed by Project Managers to ensure that it meets the standards of the client. This role is to start immediately with a competitive salary dependent on experience. You may currently be working as an AV Technician in live events or looking to take the next step in your career.

About the company

This company specialises in audiovisual equipment rental and AV services. They have one of the UK's largest equipment warehouses for the hire of video projectors, sound equipment, display technology, stage sets and lighting.
They provide expertise for any type of live event: from seminars, product launches and exhibitions, to West End theatrical productions and television shows. Their four specialist divisions operate nationwide from offices in London and Manchester. This company provides display technologies for rental: from stand-mounted plasma screens to video projectors, video walls or LED walls. They also offer high-resolution videographics software for widescreen projections, as well as stage sets and lighting for corporate events.

The Role

This role would suit an AV Technician who has at least 2-3 years’ experience who has a great understanding of equipment and their processes. You must be able to work independently as well in a team, you will also need to be flexible and adapt to all scenarios. Due to the nature of the role, you may be requires to work evenings and weekends during busy periods in order to meet the demands of the business.

About you

You will need to supply specialist audio-visual engineering and equipment operational skills both on-site and when required externally. You are expected to acquire the necessary skills to provide technical expertise and recommendations of installing, operating and dismantling a range of audio visual equipment. You will need to demonstrate commitment to the core values of the company and understand that it is essential that you have extensive knowledge of AV and relevant equipment that is used. The Offer

This company’s holiday entitlement is 25 days per annum (plus bank holidays), a competitive salary dependent on experience, they also operate a reward strategy based on experience and skill level.
