Your role will see you ..
Based at the company’s HQ in Hertfordshire and you will be responsible for leading one of two shifts to ensure the various warehouse procedures and policies covering the prep, testing and maintenance are executed to a high standard and meet the relevant team and department targets.
You will play a key role in cultivating a positive, inclusive, safe and productive environment by guiding and managing the team in all aspects of performance (collective and personal), workload planning and organisation. As the figurehead for the team you are able to lead by example and always work with your team to continually add value and improve standards.
Your technical skills will not be neglected as the position will involve you being hands-on when required, prepping, testing and maintaining a range of technical equipment used in event production. A flexible approach to the role needed because your 40 hour week will involve a split shift between 7 am – 9 pm, a weekend rota/call out and additional evening work during busy periods in the year.
You’re either a Senior Warehouse Technician looking for the next step up or you currently hold a supervisory role and you are looking to move to a more dynamic and progressive environment. You can also illustrate
- Practical experience with audio, AV and lighting
- Experience in a leadership or supervisory position
- An understanding of processes, procedures and policies in a technical production warehouse
- Excellent communication and administration skills
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- A high level of attention to detail.
