Job Description

For over 4 decades this production company has helped organisations deliver messages and experiences through creative technical production and as new sectors and markets open and they look to be at the forefront and partner with successful organisations . They are now looking to target a very exciting area of the events industry and the question they have to ask is are you’re their new Business Development Manager who is going to help them?

The Role
This position will suit someone who is dynamic, loves to work autonomously, has a strategic focus, a good level of AV knowledge and is passionate about the creative elements of events because you will be working closely with the Creative Director and your focus will be to target exciting start up and young event/experiential agencies, the relatively new kids on the block and show how the company’s technical production and design services can add tremendous value to an agency. With ongoing support you will achieve this by:

  • Researching & identifying potential clients as per your remit
  • Developing a strong and sustainable client network and pipeline
  • Planning and attending meetings and networking events to create new opportunities
  • Crafting persuasive and compelling pitches
  • Promoting  the benefits of the company’s technical production services to agencies
  • Aiding the pitching process by putting together straightforward designs using Sketch Up
  • Putting together strong and compelling  RFPs
About You
You are able to demonstrate a successful background within the live events sector and you possess a distinct understanding of professional technical production equipment across audio, AV and lighting from either a production, agency or end user perspective and you are can  support this with:
  • A professional and proactive approach to your work
  • The ability to open, build and grow sustainable and profitable relationships
  • The ability to use your own initiative
  • A strong level of business acumen
  • A target and success driven mind-set
  • A proven record of either  growing revenue or expanding accounts
