Job Description


A specialist provider of technical production solutions to the live events and professional AV sector is now on the hunt for a proactive individual to help them continue their growth. The  company has built a strong reputation developed from over 40 years of industry presence and they have a large mix of inventory which they supply to a range of event production houses and entertainment/leisure installations across the UK .They now need a Business Development Manager who is knowledgeable within the area of AV/Data, displays and LED screens to contribute to the continued success in the UK

About you.
You already have a strong footing within the professional events industry and you can clearly demonstrate this with a high level of technical knowledge, a solid network of contacts and a consistent sales track record. You have a good understanding of the professional high end brands used in the above mentioned areas and you have a strong insight into the context of how these solutions are used within a professional event environment. It is essential that you are familiar with solutions such as LED screens, media servers, controllers, projectors, etc and you can support this with an excellent level of communication ,a diligent proactive way of working  and because this is a field sales role it is essential that you have a full and clean driving license.

The Role
You will be given the opportunity to grow your territory by researching the AV rental /production sector identifying organisations who will benefit from the high end equipment and the various purchase/hire channels the business offers. You will have the support of the company’s main UK office where you will work closely with the account management and commercial teams to identify fresh opportunities, continually cultivate client relationships and key accounts for long term revenue growth. You will be expected to outline a plan for new and existing business and work to pre-defined targets. The position will allow you to take advantage of your knowledge and experience to date and you will continually nurture this by being up-to-date with relevant market information.
