Job Description

This established technical production company has over 40 years of successful industry experience delivering fantastic events experiences to corporate companies, event agencies and organisations in UK and Europe. Their success has put them at the forefront of the industry and they are now looking for a proactive and dynamic Business Development Manager to join them.

The Role
Based from their London office you will be given the specific focus of targeting start-up and young event/experiential agencies. You will have the autonomy to promote the company’s production services to potential agencies with the aim of adding them to an ever growing base of clients which means you will have a positive impact on the growth of the business. To achieve this you will be involved with:
  • Researching & identifying potential clients as per your remit
  • Developing a strong and sustainable client network and pipeline
  • Planning and attending meetings and networking events to create new opportunities
  • Crafting persuasive and compelling pitches
  • Promoting  the benefits of the company’s technical production services to agencies
  • Aiding the pitching process by putting together straightforward designs using Sketch Up
  • Putting together strong RFPs
About You
You have a clear and successful background within the live events sector and you possess a distinct understanding of professional technical production equipment across audio, AV and lighting from either a production, agency or end user perspective and you are able to support this with:
  • A professional and proactive approach to your work
  • The ability to open, build and grow sustainable and profitable relationships
  • The ability to use your own initiative
  • A strong level of business acumen
  • A target and success driven mind-set
  • A proven record of either  growing revenue or expanding accounts
