Job Description

Insight Analyst - Campaigns

A communications agency founded on the principles of simplicity, collaboration and integration rather than channels has earned them a portfolio of blue-chip clients working with some of the most recognizable global brands. As a Campaign Insight Analyst you will be personally responsible for the technical delivery of  projects involving statistical analysis ,work closely with clients to help understand and reach business objectives and be a key point of contact in the agency by providing advice on analytical techniques, systems, software and approaches.

 
Requirements


 
  • Proven commercial experience in analysis for marketing campaign insights
  • Working knowledge and experience in
  • Data manipulation
  • Hypothesis testing
  • Targeting
  • Segmentation
  • Hands on experience in 2 or more of the following statistical techniques: CHAID, Cluster Analysis Regression, Discriminant analysis
  • Proven commercial experience of SQL and/or SAS
  • Experience of web analytics tools
  • An appreciation of what is possible with data in Social Media
  • Able to make proactive recommendations for further analysis
  • Able to generate original solutions to clients problems
 

 

Responsibilities

 

Strategic:
  • Able to take the outputs of analysis and work alongside planners or campaign managers to ensure they are used in an effective way to drive the clients ambitions
  • Able to set information relating to specific projects into an overall commercial context
 

Communication:
  • Able to take complex analysis and communicate it in an appropriate way to meet the needs of your audience
  • Clear and concise communicator
  • Professionalism and presence
  • Feel comfortable expressing your opinion
 

Team:
  • Able to provide on-going coaching, mentoring and structured feedback to less experienced members of the team to help them develop
  • Help to build a strong team that keeps up to date with latest industry developments and is respected throughout the partnership as analytical experts
  • Be aware of any training courses (free or otherwise) that might be of use to the team
  • Encourage staff retention by identifying opportunities for development
 

Client:
  • Build a strong and trusted relationship with the client which allows you to challenge analytical briefs (where required) to deliver the best solution for the client
  • You should be able to build on briefs given by the client (where required) and play them back in an understandable way
  • Q/A any analytical output before going to the client to ensure that it is delivered correctly/accurately the first time
 
Agency:
  • You will develop and maintain excellent working relationships within the agency and wider partnership and use your influence to champion what we do
  • You will keep current on industry trends and stays informed about all aspects of the business in order to effectively market new services to clients
  • You will be interested in pursuing continuing education to develop professional skills and expertise  including attending professional conferences, takes advantage of networking opportunities, and researches best practices.
