Job Description

My client is one of London’s longest standing indie agencies based in Shoreditch. With a dedicated team of highly skilled specialists, these guys have an outstanding track record of delivering cutting edge solutions in digital performance marketing. 

A full service agency with services across PPC, SEO, Programmatic Display, Social Media, User Experience & CRO, Design and Analytics.

Account Directors are responsible for developing strategy of integrated marketing initiatives across all digital channels to meet client marketing and business objectives. They need to have the ability to understand key consumer insights and drive the most appropriate marketing solutions for our clients.


The role:

-Lead the client team
-Meet and exceed client objectives
-Drive profitable customer relationships
-Cross and up-sell capabilities
-Challenge and inspire the client
-Act as strategic guide and facilitator
-Understand fully the client’s business
-Direct the account team activity
-Ensure staff ownership and responsibility for projects
-Be the brand guardian of the client within the agency
-Maintain a strategic overview of account
-Proactively advise client on any issues
-Run and contribute to strategic planning meetings with client
-Keep abreast of outside issues and events
-Have financial ownership
-Provide regular monthly updates
-Review of actual vs. targets with the revenue team
-Be responsible for account/project profitability
-Negotiating
-Ensure resourcing within the account is appropriate at all times
-Ensure that you have the ‘best’ team for the job
-Work with finance to keep aged debt low nd invoicing up to date



About you:

-Good knowledge of Search, Programmatic Display, Analytics, SEO, etc
-Strong understanding of multi-channel marketing
-Strong understanding of project management
-Ability to present and sell in creative services
-Ability to cross and up-sell credibility
-Extensive experience of developing and executing campaigns
-Must be able to demonstrate strategic marketing experience
-Experience managing and growing strong client relationships
-Possession of excellent written, oral and presentation skills
-Digital agency experience is highly desirable
-Exposure to ATL marketing is desirable
-Experience of new business development is desirable
