Comms Planning Director
£50-60,000

You will be an integral part of the client team, providing essential support to Senior Account Directors in delivering award winning work and exceptional client service on a day to day basis. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of work and will be required to engage with specialist functions within the organisation to manage consistent execution of client strategies across all plans. You’ll also be required to develop strong external relationships with our clients and agency partners that will be invaluable to gaining knowledge of how our clients work as well as the wider media landscape.

Key Responsibilities
• Collaborating with internal teams and functions to deliver integrated media plans that exceed client expectations
• Train and upskill the Business Management team to develop the skills required to deliver integrated media plans
• Own our growth for every one of your clients and be able to confidently articulate our credentials
• Develop strong external relationships with clients and agency partners
• Be involved in new business opportunities
• Gain an in-depth knowledge of the client’s business so that you can engage at a senior level in turn helping them to achieve better business outcomes

Required Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
• Comms planning experience and the ability to account manage and plan campaigns
• A background in multi-channel planning would be ideal – including TV and digital. You’ll have experience of not just Performance marketing, but broader comms and you’ll understand the role for each channel in a brands journey
• Excellent communication skills, creativity, energy and passion to create work to be proud of
• In-depth knowledge of the media landscape and emerging trends
• Ability to interrogate data from a range of industry insight tools and systems and be able to distil that information in to a compelling narrative for clients
• An understanding of the role of paid channels, how they can be used and how they can work together and as part of a broader paid, earned and owned strategy
• Collaborate and work effectively with specialist functions within the organisation to implement detailed media plans that deliver against the agreed strategy
• Construct post campaign analysis which shows recommendations of how to optimise both current and future campaigns
• Have an in-depth understanding of measurement tools and their application
• You’ll be a fantastic motivator and have experience in developing and growing a team
• You’ll be able to spot strategic income opportunities across your client base
• You’ll have broad business acumen and be able to manage senior client conversations
