Job Description

I'm working with a publisher who are looking for a Digital Content Executive to join their team in South West London.

PRIMARY AIMS

  • Involvement in all aspects of email marketing activity, from planning and copywriting to editing email templates using HTML/CSS, conducting A/B tests, analysing and constantly improving our email marketing campaigns.
  • Contribute towards the continuing development and improvement of the company websites.
  • Using organic methods to increase social media followers and engagement
  • Use Google Analytics and other tools to provide customer insight.
  • Create images for company websites, email and social media campaigns.
  • Assist with specifying and shaping digital product development
RESPONSIBILITIES

Planning and analysis

  • Analyse and understand key KPIs, trends and sales opportunities to feed into the campaign planning process.
  • To use in-house software correctly to for campaign planning, implementation and management.
  • Track key performance metrics for digital marketing activities, analyse them and generate insights to improve future marketing activities.
  • Create and present performance and analysis reports as required.
Emails
  • Proactively develop expertise in using the ESP platform to effectively execute our email marketing strategy, ensuring segmented and engaging campaigns are sent out on time using our automated email software to the best of its functionality in an effective, timely manner to agreed objectives.
  • Constantly analyse and test our emails to measure their success and provide actionable insights to improve results.
  • Keep up to date with and implement email marketing best practice.
  • Ensure our email campaigns are fully integrated with other digital marketing activity and aimed at engaging our audience, driving traffic to our sites and showcasing our products and our campaigns.
  • Understanding our brand and customers to write engaging, informative copy, constantly improving this based on analytics.
  • Conduct A/B tests to ensure email campaigns are optimised for growth.
Websites
  • Manage all website content on our main e-commerce page from products to content blogs
  • Create landing pages for testing new products and lead generation
  • Use optimisation software such as Hot Jar to suggest, test and make analytically led improvements
  • Maximise the effectiveness of our websites via SEM, SEO and PPC.
Social media
  • Engage with and grow our audience on relevant social media.
  • Develop and implement the social media strategy.
  • Inform colleagues of social media best practice and train them where necessary.
