Job Description

My client is one of London’s longest standing indie agencies based in Shoreditch. With a dedicated team of highly skilled specialists, these guys have an outstanding track record of delivering cutting edge solutions in digital performance marketing.

A full service agency with services across PPC, SEO, Programmatic Display, Social Media, User Experience & CRO, Design and Analytics.

Your role will be to drive performance and strategy across the teams. You are a leader, motivating the team to hit the collective goals of the Agency as well as their personal objectives. You are a team player working collaboratively with the other department heads and senior company management team to ensure the smooth running of the company and that delivery is of the highest standard.  You are a strategic thinker with the ability to effectively motivate and share your vision.

The role: 

-Overall responsibility for the delivery of campaigns 
-Think creatively around the long term strategy and direction of the client accounts
-Drive relationships with external suppliers and maximise opportunities
-Responsible for keeping the team to agreed client financial targets 
-Responsibility and accountability for client’s satisfaction
-Develop insight and opinion on industry issues
-Identify and promote new and emerging opportunities
-Be an ambassador for the agency, (industry events etc)
-Ensure that consistent proposals and time plans are developed
-Check all proposals to make sure they are cost effective and of good quality
-Ensure approved projects are implemented and briefed accordingly 
-Identify any client performance issues an early stage and facilitate their solution
-Monitor the effectiveness of planned marketing activity
-Identify and define business opportunities
-Identify accurately the resources needed
-Motivate, develop and manage all account group staff 
-Develop accurate business forecasts and monitor actuals
-Ensure that all billing is completed with the agency’s stated procedures 
-Ensure due diligence is carried out on all new client relationships
-Proactively contribute to the strategic direction of the company 
-Lead in Agency management meetings with other Heads of Department 
-Have good relationships with senior media owners
-Write industry/account-related think-pieces


-Dynamic personality able to lead and inspire the team 
-Depth and breadth of knowledge across Biddable media 
-Knowledge of SEO techniques and how to integrate with PPC 
-Knowledge of social media, emerging tools and its ability to engage
-Knowledge of industry tools, technologies e.g. Kenshoo, Marin
-Strong managerial skills to drive a rapidly growing business  
-Excellent paid search knowledge, both strategic and implementation 
-A proven track record of operational delivery
-Possesses a deep technical understanding of all things Search
-Confident and inspiring presenter
