Job Description

My client is a leading global search marketing agency. They operate on an international scale with offices in 39 countries, and the London team offers strategic support across 127 markets around the world. The integrated search marketing services include pay-per-click management, search engine optimisation and affiliates.

They can work purely within search, but can work in a wider context too, across the entire digital landscape. In a diverse, evolving digital landscape, they help brands to deliver engaging content at every stage of the consumer journey by developing integrated digital strategies, combining paid search, social, SEO, content and mobile.

This role will work very closely with the Channels teams and Client Services team as well as key senior client members. The Digital Performance Planner will report directly to the Solutions Director, you will be responsible for delivering best in class performance oriented cross-channel digital plans/strategies, in line with clients’ objectives and targets. The role will also involve using both analytical and creative skills to fulfil a broad range of projects and support cross selling/up-selling opportunities accordingly.


-Ability to establish yourself as the key Digital Performance Planner contact
-Advanced Excel and Power Point skills
-Strong understanding of Paid Search, Paid Social, Affiliate and Display
-Ability to communicate effectively with senior members
-Contribute in developing new products and ways of working that improve cross-channel results
-Ability to discuss and be challenged on cross-channel business plans
-Digital Campaigns / Project Management
-Ensure that all campaigns meet the targets
-Help prepare performance review presentations
-Provide regular results analysis and recommendations
-Apply your analytical and numerical skills to prepare cross-channel forecasts
-Complete timesheets on a regular, minimum weekly basis
-Meet commitments and complete tasks as agreed and within agreed timeframes
-Lead the development of short and long term digital strategies for the client
-Support new business opportunities where appropriate
-Lead the development and streamlining of processes involved in forecasting
-Help develop intelligent, innovative and effective digital strategies
-Proactively engage with Channel specialists and the Client Services team
-Contribute your own ideas and opinions on your client’s business,
-Work with an attitude of “it’s up to me to make it happen”


-You are a highly analytical person who enjoys working with numbers
-You are advanced in the use of excel (macros, vlookups, pivot tables etc.)
-You have a solid understanding of the paid media ecosystem
-You have a solid cross-channel forecasting methodology
-You always question everything and you do not accept things at face value
