Environment Artist for fascinating VR Project

Are you looking to join one of the world’s leading VR Developers? Is your mind captivated by the thought of furnishing intricate game worlds with high quality environments, props and life? We are looking for an experienced Environment Artist to work on a space-based IP for release across a number of cutting edge VR platforms. The successful Environment Artist will have proven experience with Unity engine, and have unrivalled tenacity to face any creative challenge in asset modelling and implementation.

Job Description:
  • Create and maintain 3D props, environmental and modular assets
  • Create and maintain texture library
  • Work within the Art team to maintain consistency through the game world
  • Work with the Design team to ensure game flow is optimal around assets

  • 3+ years industry experience working with Unity or other game frameworks
  • Demonstrable experience at creating Environment and Prop Art either commercially or independently
  • Experience in photo realistic texture creation using PBR metallic workflow and Substance Painter
  • A great eye for detail and a natural flair for composition and colour
  • Strong traditional art skills
  • Good knowledge with 3D modelling packages such as Maya or 3D Studio Max
  • Good knowledge of and experience with Adobe Photoshop
Nice to have:
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Experience in production of procedural textures (Substance Designer)
