One of the entertainment sectors leading hire companies has experienced some fantastic deployments over the last 12 months and they are now looking for a passionate and knowledgeable person to join them in the role of Equipment Coordinator. The company supplies lighting, video and staging solutions to large scale music and theatre productions and they require someone proactive and organised to help oversee the allocation management of their vast inventory.
Firstly to be considered the position you must have an expert level of knowledge in regards of the aforementioned solutions used in the entertainment and events world. You have a strong awareness of the latest trends and technology used within the sector and you are able to couple this with a high level of commercial acumen. You have a high level of attention to detail, communication and planning skills along with expert knowledge of a stock management system. You are highly customer focused and thrive in working situations that give you a notable level of autonomy.
You will play a significant role in the booking and allocation of a range of equipment that will support the planning and delivery of various project requirements. Working closely with your colleagues in the Equipment Management and Project Handling Teams you will be the primary contact to ensure that everyone is kept updated on requirements and any changes in levels of inventory caused by repair, damage or new project requirements. Working alongside the Equipment Manager you will contribute to finding solutions for any problem these shortages may cause to limit the impact on client requirements. You will also be required to make regular audits to reconcile equipment levels against the stock management system to all records and levels are accurate
