Job Description

This is an amazing opportunity for a PPC Manager looking for a step up in their career. My client is expanding and is seeking a PPC Group Head to join their PPC team in the Leeds offices. As a PPC Group you will report directly into the PPC & Display director and will have responsibility for running your own team of PPC managers and executives, whilst ensuring delivery of performance and service on your team's client accounts. 

Role responsibilities
  • Overall responsibility for your team
  • Strategy review of you and your teams account 
  • Day to day senior support on all clients 
  • Focus on clients from a strategic level - looking for ways to drive performance and growth
  • Responsible for training and mentoring new staff, ensuring that the team as a whole stays ahead of the curve in an ever-changing industry
  • Google Adwords, Bing Adcenter, Remarketing and Display Management 
  • New business pitching 
  • Annual Employee reviews 
  • Client Revenue monitoring 
  • Keyword research 
  • Campaign and account builds and restructures 
  • Building new campaigns in Adwords and Yahoo! Bing Network 
  • Create compelling ad copy 
  • Competitor research and analysis 
  • Optimising campaigns to agreed budgets and targets 
  • Liasing with 3rd party suppliers such as Google to ensure involvement in all the latest Betas
  • Making recommendations on improving client performance 
  • Creation of client-facing and internal reports and adding commentary insights 
Other duties will be assigned to the PPC Group Head as this position reflects the general nature and level of work assigned to the role. Duties and responsibilities will be reassigned at any time dependant on business needs. 

Role requirements
  • At least 3+ years experience working in a paid search environment, managing projects with significant budgets, ideally within an agency environment 
  • Working knowledge of Marin, Kenshoo or Doubleclick 
  • Working knowledge across multiple biddable media platforms, including Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin and retargetting
  • Numerical and data analysis skills
  • Passion for all things digital- keeping abreast of key industry trends 
  • Keen eye for detail 
  • Flexibility
  • Proficient of MS office suite - Advanced knowledge of Excel in particular 
  • Proactive, positive, energetic and willingness to be adaptive 
  • Ability to work within a team or on own initiative 
  • Drive to meet and exceed targets/timescales 
  • Experience of using competitor analysis tools
