These guys get things done well, and support each other in the process so there is a great team here. As head of paid, you will have recognised expertise  / experience in developing both client accounts and team’s capabilities. This role requires an understanding of the way in which channels interact and complement one another, as well as the technical capabilities to execute high-performance PPC campaigns.

You will directly contribute to the overall direction, development and scope of the agency’s offering, working across Paid Search, Shopping, YouTube, GDN, Amazon AMS and Paid Social.

There is a talented, trained, and experienced team of 11 managers, senior managers and execs giving you the opportunity to focus solely on strategy growth and leadership. The senior management are still on hand to help and are a truly wonderful bunch of people who make the work environment a pleasure to work in. 

The role: 

-Campaign Strategy & Management
-Fully understand clients, their digital needs and priorities
-Work closely with the Head of Digital on accounts 
-Work closely with Client Services on commercial strategy
-Work closely with suppliers
-Ensure activity meets or exceeds expectations
-Oversee all client budgets
-Ensure that monthly spend is on target
-Delivery & Line Management
-Ensure that work is delivered to an exceptional standard
-Ensure targets and deadlines are met
-Training and development of junior team members
-Quality control of work 
-Best practice documentation and processes
-Training plans and delivery of soft skill and technical training
-Technology and automation
-Full scope of product development for your channels
-Market research to ensure your department is developing 
-Identifying and developing new approaches
-Evolving partner relationships and technology 
-Work directly with the New Business team 
-Capacity planning for potential new clients 
-Produce multi-channel strategies and responses to lead requirements
-Calculation of projections and commercial models 
-Ensure new clients are profitable and targets attainable
-Lead PPC-only pitches with the New Business team
-Attend and present pitches as required


-6+ years of PPC and biddable experience
-Exceptional levels of numeracy 
-Ability to analyse complex data sets
-Proven track record of developing junior PPC staff
-Proven track record of line management 
-Exp'd with New business briefs, pitching and on boarding
-Exp'd speaking at and contributing to industry events
-Ability to create client development plans and performance strategies
