Job Description

My client is London's longest established specialist search engine and social media marketing agency and are now seeking an ambitious and talented search professional, with a strong background in performance media, to head up thier Search Marketing  function.  
The Performance Media team manage PPC, Paid Social and Programmatic Display campaigns for clients, and work very closely with the Organic team.  The Organic Search team manage SEO, Content Marketing, Influencer Marketing, Digital PR and Social Media campaigns.   
They also offer Web Analytics consultancy and Conversion Rate Optimisation as services, and have developed their own blogger network.
You will be providing leadership for the teams in managing a range of very different search marketing projects across clients in multiple sectors. Current clients range from Travel, dating, fashion, charity and many others.

The role:

-Day to day runnign of PPC, Paid Social, Programmatic Display and Retargeting functions 
-Achieve agreed profitability / client yield / client growth targets
-Ensure that the Performance Media and Organic Search teams closely collaborate
-Provide inspirational leadership to Account Managers and Account Execs 
-Lead by example  
-Recruit, train, manage, mentor and motivate team 
-Ensure that knowledge of industry developments and best practice is shared 
-Work closely with HR to ensure that all team members have measurable targets 
-Conduct regular performance reviews, and team meetings, with all team members  
-Review existing operational processes
-Explore opportunities to improve performance and produce a development plan 
-Ensure that all clients have the appropriate levels of contact and account management
-Ensure that targets, forecasts, roadmaps and development objectives are set for all clients
-Develop strong relationships with search engine, social and technology suppliersEnsure that 
-Develop network and provide new business opportunities 
-Regularly contribute blog articles, white papers etc. 

-Work with a small team of friendly and fun search professionals
