This friendly and established organisation has a very strong reputation in the entertainment world and due to growth a new position has opened up with their install team which means they now require a competent person for the role of Installations Coordinator. The company installs a range of AV and lighting systems across a broad range of entertainment, leisure, business and education facilities and they are looking for someone with a strong level of project support and administration experience
You currently hold a similar position within the AV industry or you will have a background in either the electrical contracting or construction industry along with experience of working on public sector contracts. Your attention to detail and communication is at a high level and you are able to work in a calm and focused manner under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
Multi-tasking is second nature to you and you have the ability to prioritise challenging workloads to meet the various deadlines. You have a strong awareness of health and safety policies, risk assessments and you are someone who is proactive when implanting them. The ability to work well in a cohesive manner with the team will be key to your success as well as being competent with MS Office and experience of working with an electronic diary system.
Based at the company’s London office you will play an integral role providing logistical and administrative support to the department covering all installations from the initial enquiry to the closure of the project. The position will also provide you with a good mix of account handling and client liaison responsibilities and this will allow you to work with key members within the company covering teams such as projects, technicians and warehouse to ensure all project milestones are met. You will be responsible for holding daily briefing meetings with the installation technicians and where a project manager has not been appointed you will administer small installation works making sure that the relationship between the company, the client and sub-contractors is always kept to a high standard. You will also work closely with System Designers and Project Managers in regards to equipment for demos and installations and during all phases of the project you will ensure all documentation is relevant and correctly raised.
