Lighting Technician

A friendly London based technical event production house now requires an experienced Lighting Technician to join them in a role that will provide you with the opportunity to work on a variety of quality events with the opportunity to develop your skills and contribute to the organisations continued growth.
For this position you will have clear experience of supplying lighting solutions for various corporate live events such as business presentations, award shows, product launches etc. along with the ability to assess locations for technical and health and safety purposes. As The Lighting Technician you will be able to use their experience and knowledge of lighting technology to help contribute to the design of an event with the ability to work to tight deadlines and deliver excellent results. 
 
Your experience will illustrate the following:
  • Rig & de rig lighting equipment
  • Moving Lights & generic lighting
  • Operation & programming of lighting desks
  • Fault finding & trouble shooting
  • Equipment prep and maintenance
  • Equipment  specification
  • Interpret venue  plans
  • General knowledge of AV and event technology
  • Posses a full and clean driving licence
Your time will be spent equally between working on site and the warehouse so you must be prepared to roll up your sleeves and contribute to the team ethic. Marry this with good communication skills and a full clean driving license and your half way there
