Job Description

Does this sound like you? Organised, great communication and a high level of attention to detail. If yes then how would you like to work for a leading supplier to the events industry? The company specialises in the design and build of bespoke sets and environments: think TV studio sets, exhibition stands, immersive experiential spaces and conference space. To assist with the production and delivery of these exciting projects they now need a Logistics Coordinator to join them.

The Role
Based from their offices on the Surrey /South London border you will be playing a key role when it comes to sourcing, booking and the managing of crew resources along with their relevant travel and accommodation arrangements for projects in the UK and worldwide. You will be at the center of a very busy environment and because this is the world of events and entertainment plans are subject to last minute change and if you are a resilient, organised and methodical person this will be the type of role that you will excel in. You will be relied upon to:
  • Liaise  with Production and Account teams regarding crewing requirements
  • Manage the full booking process of freelance  crew for onsite and workshop jobs
  • Understand which crew will be the best fit for each project
  • Manage all relevant systems
  • Plan and organise all crew schedules, domestic and international travel
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with freelance crew
  • Work closely with the wider Logistics Team to ensure the  smooth operation of the department
  • Provide out of hours contact to the crew
  • Work alongside and support the Head of Logistics
About You
Ideally, you will come from either a production management or an event management background with:
  • Experience  in a busy and time sensitive environment
  • Experience in a similar crew booking role
  • An outstanding level of admin and communication skills
  • The ability to work and think  effectively under pressure
  • Strong strategic planning and organisation skills
  • A proactive and motivated attitude
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to manage  multiple priorities
