Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within our amazing and fast growing Recruitment Group as a Marketing and Events Manager. Reporting into our Group Head of Marketing your remit is to be responsible for delivering the internal communications, events & awards marketing plan and enhancing our engagement and experiences for our rapidly growing organisation. You will take on the key role in ensuring that we are effectively supporting, engaging and communicating with our existing employees, as well as positioning ourselves as a GREAT place to work to potential candidates


You will be responsible for (but not limited to):-

  • Development and delivery of internal communications to increase employee engagement via multiple platforms
  • Working closely with other areas of Marketing, HR and L&D to help bring employee engagement initiatives to life and supporting the strategy around attracting new talent and retaining existing talent
  • Creating and managing our internal events which includes a Summer Conference and end of Year Awards
  • Co-ordinating regular culture meetings with our CEO and internal staff representatives and communicating the outcomes to the rest of the Group (plus ensuring any actions around employee engagement are delivered to a high standard and to agreed timelines)
  • Take on our CSR, Charities of the Year initiatives and corporate fundraising targets and ensure that charity fundraising events are promoted and delivered on time/in budget.
  • Supporting and communicating regular internal staff surveys (including internal NPS scores) and collating responses
  • Supporting the fulfilment of multiple award submissions  – and promoting our successes
  • Support and develop projects relating to employee wellbeing, benefits and employee recognition/rewards
  • Keep the business informed regarding any media exposure of our brand
  • Provide external social media, communications, blogs and any other marketing support as required
  • Ensuring brand reputation and consistency at all times in all internal and external communications about our brand
  • Driving and promoting company values across all levels of the business and Group at all times

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in marketing/pr and event management
  • Technology Skills will include fluency in Microsoft Suite including Sharepoint  
  • Extremely competent with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Desirable knowledge with Mailchimp and SurveyMonkey,
  • Strong Project Management ability
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Team player who is driven by getting things done with effective time management
  • Prepared to work hard, take responsibility and hit deadlines
  • Self-motivated and think independently and outside the box
