Reporting into the CEO, the Paid Media Director is responsible for leading and developing this agency's offering across all paid channels, including search, social and display. You will have the mandate to ensure we are seen as market leaders in this space, resulting in new business acquisition and client growth in these areas. The Paid Media Director is an externally-facing role, responsible for ensuring the agency has a consistently strong presence in the industry, via PR, thought leadership, conference attendance and participation in relevant industry bodies.

  • You have excellent understanding of business, B2B and B2C models.

  • Define and refine the agency's product, ensuring we are market leading (measurable by client and new business growth).
  • Educate clients and internal stakeholders so they have a clear and consistent understanding of the the agency's product suite, and communicate this in an appropriate way.
  • Lead relevant teams to bring the product to life and execute to a consistent, gold medal standard.
  • Own relationships with relevant media owners, publishers and technology vendors, such that we have access to betas and more, to help to genuinely differentiate us from our competitors.
  • Proactively explore new product opportunities for clients, including lead generation, video distribution, email etc.
  • Develop and maintain close and productive senior client relationships.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of the financial status of accounts at all times.
  • Work with the FD to develop business plans for new revenue streams, where investment is required.
  • Present at relevant industry events.
  • 5+ years’ experience of running paid media campaigns within an agency environment.
  • A track record of search, display and social campaign management.
  • A thorough understanding of the fundamentals of performance-based marketing.
  • Have a proven record of overseeing management of multiple client accounts, attending and contributing to senior level and strategy-focused client meetings.
  • Possess the ability to integrate campaigns into broader digital media channels.
  • A history of providing fresh and innovative ideas.
  • Possess commercial, technical and business acumen.
  • Experience of European campaign management is an advantage.
