Job Description

This is an EXCITING Paid Search opportunity in an award-winning, successful Digital Media agency based in the heart of Central London. I am seeking an outstanding PPC Manager who has at least 2 years experience, to join a wonderful PPC Team full of fun-loving and highly-skilled PPC experts, where you will work on some of the UKs leading brands!  

The main focus for this role is to take ownership of the creation, optimisation and future development of the Paid Search portfolio, including overseeing the work of the Paid Search Account team. The PPC Account Manager works with a PPC Account executive in being the first point of contact for the client for Paid Search, managing the performance of the activity as well as the expectations of the client. 

Role responsibilities
  • Put together plans to organise mid-term campaign actions and goals
  • Input in to client planning, including ensuring road maps and plans are kept up to date and tasks are delivered 
  • Forecast of campaigns and support for new account initiatives 
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the client's brand, marketing and business objectives and where search fits within this
  • Develop campaign strategies that achieve client outcomes 
  • Quality control of the output of direct reports, including reviewing work before it is delivered to clients
  • Manage bidding strategies across accounts and ensure activity spends to budget 
  • Execute and track tests with methodical accuracy 
  • Identify opportunities for business development amongst existing clients, and both up-sell and cross-sell opportunities 
  • Understand client's business and the KPIs as well as building partnerships with internal and external parties
  • Production of monthly meeting presentations, including key insights in to performance 
  • Inspiring people to contribute and deliver work they take pride in. 
  • Implement Paid Search best practices and contribute to team knowledge sharing
  • Contributes to team growth and knowledge base, providing coaching and overseeing one or more junior team members
  • Training of department processes and use of platforms for direct reports and the wider team
Role requirements
  • 2+ years experience in PPC, within an agency environment/similar role
  • Experience developing, managing and coordinating Paid Search and Google shopping strategies 
  • High technical knowledge of PPC and associated technology/suppliers
  • Technical knowledge of Google Shopping and feed management platforms 
  • Demonstrable track record of building profitable Paid Search campaigns 
  • Influences peers to achieve right delivery for client/business 
  • Organised and can prioritise, plan and evaluate schedules where necessary 
  • Ability to work independently and well in a team 
  • Highly competent with Microsoft Excel 
  • Experience across the Google stack - DoubleClick for Search, Analytics as well as Bing Ads, Search Squared, Basecamp, The Search Monitor.
