Summary of Position 
Working within Web Performance, you will help to lead and define this agency's PPC strategy, demonstrating continued technical excellence in maintaining the offering as the best in class.  You will have a pivotal role in managing the success of a dedicated group of PPC client accounts, being able to interpret the client's business needs and take the initiative to identify areas for improvement in client projects, ensuring each account is run effectively and profitably.  

Duties & Responsibilities
Principal tasks will include:
  • Providing creative, tactical and strategic insight to improve performance across the PPC team
  • Formulating plans to meet client objectives over an agreed time frame
  • Managing agreed budgets to stay within clients’ pre agreed limits whilst achieving performance goals for the clients
  • Being able to think strategically about Paid Search as a channel and understand how it integrates as part of the media mix
  • Written & oral reporting on performance both internally and externally
  • Presentation of progress reports to clients on a regular basis
  • Account configuration and benchmarking
  • Campaign monitoring including statistical testing
  • Utilising internal tools, best practice and expertise to optimise results
  • Integrating seamlessly with client account teams where appropriate
  • Close liaison with the SEO & Social team to deliver the best possible service to clients
Qualifications (necessary skills and experience required)
You will:
  • Have at least 3 year’s previous Agency PPC experience
  • Have an in depth understanding of Google AdWords and Google Analytics
  • Have excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Have strong analytical and project management skills
  • Be highly motivated and able to work independently and as part of the team
  • Be able to work to deadlines, prioritising and managing tasks across multiple clients
  • Have enthusiasm and a committed work ethic
  • Previous experience mentoring a junior staff member or leading a small team would be an advantage
