The world of live events is fast moving and dynamic and the Creative Department of this leading event production company has its hands full managing volumes of print jobs for event projects in Europe and the UK. The Creative Director now requires an experienced person for their large format operations in the role of Production Scheduler.
In this industry communication and managing deadlines are key so you are someone who enjoys a fast paced working environment and you are not afraid to use your initiative to get the job done. You will have the autonomy to schedule all large format printing and you will be the key person for Event Managers when it comes to advising on print costs making sure all requirements are cost effective and add value to each project. The position will give you a lot of variety and you will be expected to make a significant contribution to the overall quality of the print work by maintaining an eye on the quality, managing schedules and updating relevant staff on production and any outstanding issues.
You have an excellent level of experience with the processes involved in large format print finishing and it is vital you are competent with printing, laminating and mounting. Mac and PC hold an equal level of competency in you skill base and you are confident with MS Office, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, along with experience installing and operating large format printers. Mix these competencies with ambition, drive and an excellent level of communication and you are heading in the right direction.
