Programmatic / Display Account Manager
£30-40,000 DOE

The Role

The Display Account Manager is an established and proven expert in display advertising with capabilities across programmatic, mobile display (web and CPI), VOD and native. This role requires a technical understanding of how display interacts with and complements all digital marketing channels, working with other digital disciplines to help define our clients’ media strategy.


Display specific responsibilities
  • Ownership and responsibility of all display accounts, including leading media partner discussions, tracking and internal documentation such as financial entries and billing processes
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure that the team are constantly at the forefront of industry developments and, when suitable, we are trialling these new opportunities for our clients
  • Maintain a high standard of quality for reporting and campaign delivery, with experience across a variety of the major tracking / ad serving partners
  • Ensure a high level of transparency is available to clients throughout the media buying process
  • Manage budgets in line with strategy and ensure that monthly spend is on target
  • Work closely with Client Services and the Head of Paid Media to ensure all accounts have a performance and commercial strategy specific to display
Delivery & Line Management
  • Direct line management of junior members of the Paid Media Department to ensure that work is delivered to an exceptional standard, on target and on time
  • Training and development of junior team members to ensure that they are performing at the standard expected by the agency and clients
  • Quality control of work conducted by junior members of the team
Departmental Development
  • To work with the Head of Paid Media across a range of tasks to further the scale, capabilities and quality of the offering.

  • 2 years + of working in display/programmatic marketing
  • Proven track record of delivering projects and results for clients
  • Proven track record of achieving ecommerce targets (sales and revenue volume, ROI, ROAS, CPA) as well as branding and awareness metrics
  • Proven track record with leading 3rd party analytics packages, ad serving, DSPs and anti-fraud partners
  • Proven track record of bringing efficiency to client activity in terms of both performance and resource levels
  • Experience in CPI mobile partners of great benefit
  • Excellent understanding of display and programmatic as well as wider digital channels and environment
  • Ability to work and succeed in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to independently research news stories, industry developments or opportunities and relay these to the wider business
  • Highly organised with an acute attention to detail
  • High level of English, both written and spoken
  • Strong numerical and analytical capabilities, including use and creation of Excel formulae and macros
