Job Description

Programmer – Malta – Full-time

Creative personnel are thrilled to offer this brilliant opportunity to work with one of our most exciting and passionate studios based in Malta. Our client are looking for a Programmer to join their highly skilled set of professionals, the perfect candidate would be reporting to the lead programmer. You will be responsible for programming game systems and working with other programmers to solve technical problems. This studio boasts a handful of perks which includes a relocation package.     

Required skills:
  • 2+ Years of C/C++ programming
  • Write clear, maintainable, portable code
  • Familiarity with source control systems (Perforce and git)
  • Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Passion for developing and playing games
  • Strong communication skills
  • Interested in keeping skills up to date
  • Ability to estimate work complexity and time
  • Fluent in English
Helpful to have:
  • Professional game development experience
  • Experience developing for mobile platforms
  • Experience with multi-platform development
  • Network programming experience
  • Performance analysis, profiling and optimisation techniques
  • Knowledge of 3D maths and rendering algorithms
  • Low level understanding / familiarity with processor architectures
  • Physics programming
  • AI programming
  • C++11 familiarity
  • c#
  • Java
  • Arm assembly
  • Knowledge of common graphics APIs (OpenGL/ES, Metal, Vulkan, DirectX)
  • Familiarity with shader languages
  • Unreal Engine experience
  • Unity experience
