Job Description

This organisation is very established in the event production industry and they have built up a strong reputation spanning over 20 years. They now need a Senior Audio Engineer to join them and take responsibility of the relevant sound requirements for the various events they deliver for a wide range of companies, brands and organisations.

About You
You will already be a very competent and confident engineer who has gained at least 3 years’ experience delivering audio solutions for corporate live events in different and unique venues. You will be up to speed on the latest audio trends and equipment used in event production and this is something that you will be able to clearly demonstrate. Your knowledge of network audio systems and protocols, line array design and control systems will be to a high standard and you will be fluent when it comes to the operation and programming of digital desks. Working in the fast paced environment of event production will be second nature to and you will be familiar with the types of venues and environments that host these events. Your character will be approachable and you will have a good level of leadership experience

The Role
You will be responsible for a number of significant tasks to support the delivery of the company’s events acting as the ears to the Project Manager for all things audio. You will design and plan a variety of solutions alongside helping to manage the relevant technical, crewing and logistical resources. Your involvement with each project will cover the design, planning and specification of the correct audio solutions alongside assisting the Project Manager with any H&S requirements. Your responsibilities will extend to the onsite set up and operation of audio equipment making sure that all project and client requirements are met.

Alongside working industry hours some of the work will involve European travel so a flexible approach to the position will be required.
