The Role
Based from their state of the art production warehouse /workshop on the London /Middlesex borders the position will see you make an impact on all scenic work because you will be the main point of contact for all carpentry work and set design jobs acting as the glue at the scenic build prep stage between the teams in Workshop, Operations, Production, Events and of course the end client ensuring all deadlines and expectations are met. Your craft and creativity will contribute to the building of unique sets and your Workshop and on site experience will allow you to oversee safe and efficient practices. Throughout you will be in regular liaison with and have ongoing support from the Scenery Managers with the aim of having a best in class Scenery Team for the company
About You
You have an excellent carpentry background that has been honed and developed in the events industry and you can clearly demonstrate:
- Experience across a variety of events such as award shows, conferences, launches, and exhibitions
- Strong set building experience
- The confidence to make project critical decisions
- Team supervisory experience
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- Excellent problem solving skills
