Senior Digital Account Director

Reporting in to the Group Account Director & Head of Digital, the Senior Digital Account Director will lead the day to day management of the EMEA business, building strong relationships with key stakeholders both internally and at the client. The role will also extend to support across other key clients where necessary as well support with driving digital transformation across the business including the development of ecommerce capabilities, supporting with new business and driving the training agenda.

Client & Agency Leadership
• Be the lead in managing the EMEA business, and solving key business challenges across brands/markets
• Assume day to day responsibility for the entire account
• Monitor and assess the strength of the client relationship, ensuring excellent performance reviews
• Forge close relationship with key clients, global teams and relevant regional leads
• Collaborate with global to make effective use of budget across product, region and channel
• Provide quality control across all teams output, from the account team to specialist divisions

Planning & Digital Excellence
• Drive digital excellence across your group and within the wider agency
• Lead the digital agenda across key industry topics such as brand safety, addressability, programmatic and media effectiveness
• Ensure media effectiveness, delivering against targets as well as channel / category benchmarks
• Promote data driven planning and insight across plans from insights, audience planning through to measurement with a clear medium and long term vision
• Understand regional diversity and ensure the media strategy works on a local level
• Design overall measurement framework to evaluate success including Benchmarking, Objective & KPI setting

• Lead and manage the group across product, people and performance
• Maintain a complete understanding of client’s businesses and share ideas/point of views to help clients resolve key challenges in the region
• Develop strong relationships with global business leads and key clients, becoming a trusted advisor
• Deliver effective media strategies that demonstrably deliver to client goals and increase ROI
• Drive media excellence, thought leadership and innovation thus support in raising the profile of the agency
• Identify new and pioneering opportunities to achieve best in class communications
• Play a prominent role in new business pitches

• Digital experience working across international clients
• Enthusiastic about media and the role an agency can play in driving forward marketing
• Passionate about digital, it’s evolving role with the mix with in-depth technical knowledge
• Have vision, determination and the ability to challenge internal teams to deliver against client objectives
• Highly personable with a collaborative spirit, with the ability to develop strong and enjoyable working relationships internally and externally
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbally
• Track record of developing strong senior client connections
• High level of numeracy with a particular ability to analyse and interrogate numbers;
