Job Description

The Senior Digital Media Manager will lead the online and digital media activity across a selection of high profile client accounts across a variety of sectors including FMCG, Retail, Travel and B2B.

The account group is growing fast and the team is building around this growth. The work will be split across delivery and growth and the opportunity is there for the best candidate to build their agency and career progression around this client. This is a key position and we are looking for the most talented future leaders to join us

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Knowledge, Skills and Attitude:
  • Digital account direction across clients with proven track record building relationships with client contacts
  • Passionate about online and digital media
  • A strong level of knowledge on the online marketplace, including display, programmatic social, video, search, affiliates, email, mobile and adserving/tracking technologies with a proven track record of overseeing from strategic planning, campaign briefing, planning, implementation, management & optimisation and reporting
  • Strong planning & buying and admin skills with very good attention to detail
  • Approachable and excellent team player, ambassador for digital both internally and externally
  • Client facing communicator with excellent offline media and marketing knowledge base
  • Leadership qualities, both strategic and personal.
  • Some knowledge of traditional channels such as TV, OOH, Press etc. would be preferable but not essential
  • Ability to manage younger members and guide them on digital best practices
Tasks and general responsibilities:
  • Direction of key accounts’ digital activity – from strategy through to performance
  • Delivering innovative solutions
  • Ensuring online and digital is integrated with other media channels
  • Smooth integration with other agency teams
  • Ultimate responsibility for accurate and punctual delivery of work, ensure consistent high levels of quality achieved for work output to planners
  • Earn the trust and respect of clients and key contacts, lead and mentor the relevant online team members
  • Educate clients as to the role of online and make recommendations on digital activation strategy in conjunction with the planning team
  • Lead relationships with media owners, creative agencies, adservers, research companies etc
  • Develop strong relationships with strategists, buyers & planners internally
  • Clear understanding of clients products and business objectives
ABOUT YOU
  • Experienced in digital media account management within an agency environment – working on large scale multichannel media accounts covering display (Inc Programmatic), social, video, mobile, search.
  • Experienced handling clients, pitching for business and delivering organic growth
  • Ability to understand key requirements of a brief and confidence to question when necessary
  • Needs to be enthusiastic with a friendly attitude towards group/team
  • Mature approach to day to day duties
  • Adatable to change
  • Have a good understanding of data lead digital campaigns
