Job Description

A fantastic opportunity with an award-winning AAA studio looking for an innovative Senior Games Designer to join their talented team, working on a world-shattering racing game. The studio has consistently developed top quality racing games over the past 30 years, redefining the genre’s standards.

Incorporating ambition, passion and enthusiasm into your work, you will shape the title from inception to the final thrilling player experience, conceptualising and directing the design of the project. You will play a key role in establishing the design vision, whilst monitoring the project throughout the development process.

Responsibilities:
  • Creating clear, concise documentation
  • Present ideas to the design team, incorporating feedback
  • Balance design and production goals
  • Inspire a team of designers to reach their full potential
  • Act as a focal point for groups composed of different disciplines
  • Drive features to completion
  • Presenting work at conferences and trade shows, industry press and third parties
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Varied knowledge of games across platforms
  • Strong understanding of development processes
  • Experience using in-house/off-the-shelf tools to balance both meta-game and moment-to-moment gameplay
  • 3+ years game design experience
