International Senior Account Director

Blue Chip Account

This is a key role to join a leading international media agency and work across 2 accounts from professional services and tech sectors. The AD will lead the team in building strong relationships with key day to day clients, partners within the agency network who handle creative responsibilities and online & offline media partners.

• Manage the day to day of the accounts reporting to the Regional Managing Partner
• Ensure work delivered to client is of highest standard; review all key documents/ presentations prior to distribution
• Manage a team of 1 Account Executive, 1 Account Manager and work in conjunction with 3 other functions: Finance, Communication Planning and Digital
• Be an active contributor presenting in client meetings
• Develop close relationships with clients and agency partners
• Ensure curiosity, innovation and outsmarting are the key principles that guide the account
• Work with the team on coordinating local market activity
o Provide support with campaign briefing – providing comments on target, channel, budget, timeline
o Support and advise local market teams. Be able to confidently challenge and question assumptions and recommendations that have been made to ensure the best possible delivery for the client
o Ensure standard processes are rolled out across markets
• Merchandise team’s work internally and externally
• Seek for continuous improvement based on learnings
• Having an understanding of the communications process beyond media
• Inspire the team, leading by example, providing clear direction, feedback and support
• Champion innovative media solutions in every media plan and push the boundaries of conventional communication thinking.
• Strong understanding of the key issues facing the client business, leading the sharing/interpretation of these and delivery & implementation of action plan to drive business forward.
• Be digitally driven—oversee digital campaigns and optimization recommendations
• Be data driven – work closely with the Analytics & Research Directors to ensure solid measurement and learning plans are created and reporting is delivered in a timely manner
