Job Description

My client is looking for a talented SEO Account Director who is to be responsible for managing all aspects of SEO, ranging from on-page to technical and outreach.  This involves creating the strategy, liaising with clients and overseeing the development of SEO Managers whilst maintaining best practice throughout. The ideal candidate will have strong prior experience managing large clients.

  • Be the ‘go to’ person for SEO Strategy on the account
  • Responsible for hitting client targets
  • Oversee quarterly reviews
  • Work effectively with planning & channel teams to ensure an integrated approach with other areas, particularly paid search
  • Manage the expectation of both internal and external stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities on and off site to improve performance in organic search results
  • Identify the most effective methods to reach your audience, understand what motivates them and how to target the best prospects
  • Understand and be familiar with the stages and processes involved in developing and implementing SEO strategies
  • Constantly up to date with industry developments so as to anticipate and prepare clients for these changes
  • Responsible for the day to day efficiency of your work and as such should be able to plan your time and responsibilities effectively
Minimum Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of hands on SEO experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office solutions
  • Excellent account management skills - with a proven track record in managing client expectations.
  • Good presentation skills and inter-personal relationship skills. Candidates must have the ability to communicate complicated concepts, simply.
  • The ability to multi-task and work on several areas at a time.
  • Must be a self-starter and highly motivated.
  • Excellent prioritisation and project management skills.
