Job Description

My client is a super modern digital agency based in the media hub of Manchester.... they are seeking an SEO Analyst to join their SEO team.
As an SEO analyst, you will be responsible for working as part of the search team on projects carrying out Search activity, reporting and liaising with clients and other agencies. You will also be working closely with the technical team on certain projects and the account management team who are based in Manchester and London.

  • Fluent in English both written and spoken
  • A passion for Search Marketing
  • Experience gained in a Search Agency
  • Degree level or equivalent
  • At least 1 years’ experience in Search Marketing
  • Excellent numeracy and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experienced in using Google Analytics
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated
  • Works well under pressure and to deadlines
  • Being reliable, dedicated and work to task
  • Experienced in dealing with clients and agencies
  • Good understanding of HTML, CSS, WordPress and other content management systems
  • Writing SEO proposals including target KPIs & presenting to clients
  • Implementing SEO strategies, monitoring and reviewing
  • Conducting keyword research
  • Carrying out on-site optimisation audits, providing recommendations and implementation
  • Keeping up-to-date with changes in the Search industry daily
  • Share search knowledge and learnings with the team regularly
  • Propose new/ improved ways of carrying out search activities as required which includes use of existing/ new tools
  • Investigate/propose new tools as required
  • Carry out advanced analysis on client performance in GA & other tools and share new ways to analyse with team
  • Remain GA certified
  • Keep up to date with GA platform & new features & share with the team
  • Carrying out market and competitor research and analysis regularly to inform/amend strategy
  • Devising content marketing plans and executing content strategies
  • Lead & input into content brainstorm sessions as required
  • Monthly reporting
  • Ad-hoc reporting
  • Review client performance daily in Google Analytics & other relevant search tools as required
  • Deliver search performance against set KPIs
  • Attending regular client and/or inter-agency meetings face to face, phone or via Skype
  • Measurement and analysis of client’s search performance using various analytics software
  • Liaising with the technical departments (internal/external) ensuring SEO recommendations are implemented
  • Developing and maintaining client relationships together with Account Managers to grow the accounts
